IT Support Technician – On‑site Role

About the role

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our on‑site team. In this position you will provide essential network and system assistance to end‑users, ensuring smooth daily operations and rapid resolution of technical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Grant users access to computer networks and manage permissions.
• Monitor and report on the performance of computer systems and networks.
• Respond promptly to users experiencing technical difficulties.
• Consult user guides, technical manuals, and documentation to research and implement solutions.
• Provide advice and training to users based on identified challenges.
• Maintain a problems‑and‑solutions log for use by other support analysts.
• Participate in the redesign of applications and other software.
• Supervise other technical support workers within the group.
• Deliver business systems, network, and Internet support to users.

Required profile

• College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
• 2 to less than 3 years of experience in IT support.
• Ability to work on‑site full time.
• Strong communication skills for user interaction and training.
