Senior NetSuite Consultant – Manufacturing

About the role

Plative is seeking a Senior NetSuite Consultant to lead functional implementations for manufacturing and wholesale distribution clients. The consultant will own the full project lifecycle, translating complex production processes into scalable NetSuite solutions while working in an agile, fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate client discovery sessions to map manufacturing, supply chain, and distribution requirements to NetSuite best practices.
• Own end‑to‑end implementation, including configuration of complex business logic, custom work order workflows, and manufacturing‑specific scripting.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert for advanced production processes such as BOM management, shop floor control, WIP, routing, and MRP.
• Advise clients on demand planning, landed costs, supply‑chain control tower, and inventory valuation methods.
• Identify and communicate architectural risks early and collaborate with architects to resolve constraints.
• Design and lead internal QA processes and guide client User Acceptance Testing to ensure system stability and data integrity.
• Delegate tasks to analysts, mentor their development, and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Manage scope, budget, and technical dependencies together with the Project Management team.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of NetSuite implementation experience, primarily in manufacturing and wholesale distribution.
• Strong knowledge of NetSuite core configuration, complex business logic, and SuiteFlow.
• Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile project‑management methodologies.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet‑level data transformations and CSV‑based data migration.
• Excellent presentation skills to translate technical concepts for executive audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
