About the role
The ISI Fund Project Coordinator provides administrative, logistical and communication support for projects within the Centre for Teaching and Learning at UBC Okanagan. Working part‑time (1‑2 days per week), the coordinator helps increase the number and quality of applications to UBC’s Indigenous Strategic Initiatives Fund.
Key responsibilities
- Collect, organize and archive project documentation for accurate record‑keeping.
- Manage project‑specific communications, sending updates and reminders to team members.
- Plan and support project meetings, including agenda preparation, decision tracking and action‑item follow‑up.
- Assist in compiling information for project timelines, schedules and workflow tracking tools.
- Draft, review and format project documents, reports and resources.
- Monitor project progress and flag potential issues.
Required profile
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Experience in administrative or project coordination support, preferably in an academic setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively with CTL staff, faculty partners and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple tasks against deadlines.
