Inventory Planning Analyst

About the role

As an Inventory Planning Analyst at Simons, you will ensure that merchandise is distributed to stores in line with planning requirements and sales trends. You will work closely with the buying team, distribution centre, and store managers to keep the replenishment system running smoothly and optimise shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize merchandise allocation to maximise sales and profitability.
• Configure and execute inventory rebalancing across stores.
• Manage parameters and rules within the replenishment system for optimal inventory distribution.
• Analyse stock shortages and excess inventory and implement corrective actions.
• Resolve inventory‑related issues and develop solutions to improve stock movement.
• Prepare and present performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations, logistics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking with demonstrated initiative.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written) for daily communication with store teams nationwide.
• Experience in a retail environment or in inventory management/supply‑chain replenishment is an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
