Internal Control Manager

About the role

The Internal Control Manager will ensure the Company operates efficiently, maintains reliable financial reporting, and complies with local laws and regulations. Reporting to the Director of Internal Control, you will partner with business owners and global internal control and audit teams to embed robust controls and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute control testing for assigned processes, allocating resources and aligning with business stakeholders.
• Perform control evaluations, document results per Danone guidelines, and use technology for continuous monitoring.
• Conduct risk assessments on key processes and recommend mitigation actions.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to senior management, ensuring clear communication of risk and control status.
• Oversee action‑plan implementation, promote policy adherence, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Leverage data analytics, robotic process automation, and generative AI to enhance testing efficiency.
• Travel to multiple locations for on‑site control testing when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or CISA strongly preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in internal control, internal or external audit within a multinational environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic setting and influence senior leaders.
