Intelligence and Investigations Officer

About the role

The Intelligence and Investigations Officer supports Manitoba Justice by mitigating risk and preventing criminal infiltration across government operations. Reporting to the Manager and Director of the Security Operations Centre, the incumbent works within a team that delivers security screening, threat management and open‑source intelligence services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide risk‑mitigation support to divisions within Manitoba Justice.
• Collaborate with security screening, threat management and open‑source intelligence programs.
• Maintain daily contact with justice partners, law‑enforcement agencies and Indigenous community justice leaders.
• Facilitate knowledge exchange and program delivery to protect assets, employees and persons in care.

Required profile

• Experience in security, intelligence or investigations within a government or law‑enforcement environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including Indigenous community leaders.
• Strong communication skills for daily liaison with external partners.
