About the role
The Faculty of Law at McGill University is seeking an experienced legal professional to teach the course "Private International Air Law" (ASPL 636) in the Fall 2026 term. The instructor will lead weekly Friday sessions, guiding undergraduate law students through complex international aviation regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and facilitate discussions on the Warsaw Convention, Montreal Convention, Rome Convention, and related case law.
- Prepare course materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
- Coordinate with the Student Affairs Office regarding scheduling changes.
Required profile
- At minimum, a first degree in law.
- Several years of significant practice or professional experience in private international air law.
- Demonstrated experience teaching undergraduate law students in a bilingual (English/French) environment.
