About the role
We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to drive new business and expand existing accounts. The role focuses on prospecting, converting leads, and delivering exceptional service to build long‑term relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Prospect, assess and convert new business opportunities into active customers.
- Grow share of wallet by introducing additional product lines to existing clients.
- Transition accounts from non‑preferred suppliers to our designated preferred vendor offerings.
- Increase revenue within existing accounts by promoting upgraded, alternative or newly available products.
- Inform customers about upcoming deals, promotional campaigns and new product launches.
- Relay changes in product demand to the purchasing team.
- Provide exceptional service to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Develop, execute and oversee pricing strategies across assigned accounts.
- Participate in regular sales meetings and maintain consistent check‑ins with the Sales Manager.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and apply established sales techniques.
- Introduce value‑added services such as moving clients from manual ordering to e‑commerce platforms.
Required profile
- Minimum of 2 years experience in inside or telephone sales, preferably in paper, packaging, sanitation/janitorial or foodservice distribution.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
- Self‑motivated, able to work autonomously and manage priorities.
- Highly organized with strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Ability to manage CRM activities efficiently.
