Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative

About the role

EMS-Tech Inc. is an engineering firm specializing in the design and supply (OEM) of bulk material handling equipment, with headquarters in Canada and offices in the Netherlands, China and Australia. Its After Sales Parts team keeps customers satisfied and ensures their systems run smoothly. It is looking for an Inside Sales Associate to manage and coordinate spare parts orders, prepare quotations and make sure parts arrive on time.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate spare parts quotations by researching historical data, reading technical drawings or sourcing new parts.
• Draft and manage procurement documents such as spreadsheets, databases, requests for quotations and purchase orders.
• Receive, organize and circulate supplier and fabricator drawings for approval, including preparing drawing transmittals.
• Coordinate order fulfillment and track quotes, shipments, invoices and payments.
• Assist in maintaining and organizing spare parts files and correspondence.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Business or technical degree/diploma or equivalent education and on-the-job experience.
• 0-2 years of experience in a client-facing customer service role.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams).
