Order Desk & Customer Service Representative

About the role

The Order Desk/Customer Service Representative will process customer orders, support retail operations, and provide general office assistance for a fast‑growing bakery manufacturer.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately enter and process orders received via email, phone, fax and EDI.
• Assist callers with order placement and general inquiries.
• Coordinate pick‑up and delivery with company drivers and third‑party carriers, preparing all required documentation.
• Arrange delivery of product samples for customers and events.
• Provide break relief and peak‑time assistance for the company store staff.
• Monitor and order office and production supplies, manage copier service, and handle inbound/outbound couriers.
• Offer ad‑hoc support to senior management as needed.

Required profile

• High school graduate; post‑secondary education is an asset.
• Previous experience in an order desk, retail environment, or similar customer‑facing role.
• Familiarity with SAP or comparable ERP systems.
• Fluent English; additional language(s) a plus.
• Strong accuracy, composure under high transaction volume, and professional communication.
• Effective time‑management and teamwork abilities.
