Infrastructure & Operations Manager – Postgraduate Medical Education

About the role

The University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine seeks an Infrastructure and Operations Manager to lead the administrative functions of its Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) office. This senior role ensures smooth operation of resident management, communications, facilities, and financial processes across multiple training sites.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership for all Office of PGME administrative activities, including resident onboarding, communications, legal agreements, records management, and finance.
• Oversee the Resident Management System (RMS) to register, pay, promote, track, and report resident activities in line with accreditation requirements.
• Manage PGME information systems, develop business rules, and continuously improve administrative processes.
• Coordinate facility management and support services for multiple clinical academic campuses and regional centers.
• Report directly to the senior administration team and collaborate with academic and clinical partners.

• Proven experience managing complex administrative operations in an academic or healthcare environment.
• Strong leadership and decision‑making abilities with a focus on service excellence.
• Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to handle multiple priorities.
