Industrial Millwright – Mechanical Maintenance

About the role

Labatt Breweries of Canada is seeking a skilled Millwright/Industrial Mechanic to join its production team in Edmonton. The role involves maintaining and repairing a variety of brewing and packaging equipment while working on rotating shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment in a production environment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment such as gearboxes, pumps, bottle and can fillers, labelers, palletizers, depalletizers, packers, and beer centrifuges.

Required profile

• Valid Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Certificate.
• 3+ years experience in industrial mechanic/millwright or machinist trade, preferably in a production facility.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including days, afternoons, nights, overtime and holidays.

Required skills

• Mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Welding and/or machining (asset).
• Experience with computer‑based maintenance software, SAP and other CMMS systems (asset).

• Hourly rate $48.23 with premium rates and progressive yearly increases per CBA.
• Overtime eligibility with double‑time Saturdays and 2.5× pay on Sundays/holidays.
