About the role
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Butcher to join our meat processing facility in Scarborough. You will work with a variety of meats, preparing primal cuts and ready‑to‑sell products for wholesale distribution.
Key responsibilities
- Cut beef, lamb, pork or veal carcasses into primal cuts for further processing.
- Remove feathers, singe and wash poultry before packaging.
- Produce specific meat and poultry cuts for institutional and commercial customers.
- Debone meat products as required.
- Maintain clean and safe workstations while handling cutting equipment.
Required profile
- Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 2 years of hands‑on butchering experience.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with good hand‑eye coordination.
- Capability to stand for extended periods.
Required skills
- Proficiency with cleavers.
- Proficiency with knives.
- Experience using power cutting tools.
- Experience operating saws.
What we offer
- Permanent, full‑time employment.
- Hourly wage starting at CAD 23.
