In-Store Warehouse Merchandise Handler, Casual, up to 8 hours per week

About the role

Ashley Canada is seeking a Casual Part‑Time In‑Store Warehouse Merchandise Handler for its Penticton location. The role focuses on visual presentation, warehousing, and customer service within the store environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide efficient and accurate support for visual presentation, warehousing, customer service, pickups, and merchandising.
• Maintain store exterior and overall store upkeep.
• Receive products, prepare outbound shipments, and ready items for floor placement or delivery.
• Maintain accurate inventory documentation.
• Load and unload freight trailers.
• Keep the warehouse area organized and clean.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience is an asset.
• Ability to work retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience with MS Office and ability to learn the in‑house inventory management system.
• Physically fit, able to lift and move objects up to 100 lbs.
