In-House Paralegal – North America

About the role
The In‑House Paralegal will support the Legal Department across Canada, the United States and Mexico, handling contract administration, commercial real‑estate matters and litigation support. You will work closely with internal business leaders, external counsel, landlords and regulatory bodies to ensure legal matters are managed efficiently and proactively.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the end‑to‑end contract administration process for commercial agreements, service contracts, confidentiality agreements and vendor contracts.
- Coordinate preparation, execution, renewal, tracking and organization of legal agreements and corporate records.
- Support commercial real‑estate activities, including lease administration, amendments, renewals and related documentation.
- Maintain legal databases, document‑management systems and corporate records with high accuracy.
- Assist with litigation management by collecting, organizing and reporting documents and liaising with external counsel.
- Serve as a legal resource for internal stakeholders across multiple departments.
- Help improve legal processes, document‑management practices and operational efficiencies.
Required profile
- Paralegal diploma, certificate or equivalent legal education.
- 3–8+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in a corporate legal department or commercial law environment.
- Strong understanding of corporate, commercial, contract and compliance matters.
- Experience with commercial real‑estate matters and litigation support is a significant asset.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Professional judgment, discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
- Bilingualism in English and French is a strong asset.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience using legal document management systems.
