Import Documentation Representative

About the role

The Import Documentation Representative provides end‑to‑end support for import shipments, ensuring all documentation complies with customs regulations and that customers receive timely, accurate information. You will act as the primary point of contact for inquiries ranging from simple track‑and‑trace requests to complex destination changes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and resolve customer inquiries via email and telephone, adhering to defined KPIs.
• Execute the import documentation protocol, verifying accuracy and compliance before release of shipments.
• Coordinate with overseas agencies and internal teams to address changes, issues, and escalations.
• Maintain professional communication and develop relationships with customers and global partners.
• Support internal stakeholders by providing accurate documentation and status updates.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or transportation.
• Bilingual proficiency in written and spoken English and French.
• Demonstrated alignment with MSC values and customer‑centric approach.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with ERP or Transportation Management Systems is an asset.
