HVAC Mechanic – Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HVAC mechanic to install, maintain, and overhaul heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning systems for our projects in Edmonton. The role involves working on a variety of commercial and residential installations while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install and overhaul heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning systems, including heat pump units.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan installation methods and sequences.
• Measure, lay out, and verify reference points for accurate system placement.
• Coach and instruct apprentices on proper techniques and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC installation and maintenance.
• Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade Certification.
• Valid driver’s licence and own tools, including steel‑toed safety boots.
• Strong punctuality, communication, initiative, and teamwork.

Required skills

• Installation of heating systems.
• Installation of ventilation and air‑conditioning systems.
• Blueprint interpretation and layout measurement.
• Heat pump system knowledge.
