About the role
We are seeking a proactive Human Resources Generalist to join a leading organization in downtown Toronto. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to influence employee relations, talent acquisition, and culture initiatives while working three days per week on‑site.
Key responsibilities
- Provide consultation and support to management on employee relations, talent management, and policy compliance.
- Manage the full talent acquisition lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and extending offers.
- Design and implement HR programs, maintain the employee handbook, and drive engagement, benefits, and recognition initiatives.
- Analyze HR metrics, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with federal and provincial employment standards.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar HR Generalist role.
- University degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Expert knowledge of employment law and standards legislation.
- Ability to handle highly confidential information with professionalism.
Required skills
- Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS).
- Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
