About the role
We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to work closely with operations leaders, supporting business objectives, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness across our logistics and last‑mile delivery network.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with operations leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, performance management and leadership development.
- Provide HR guidance on employee relations, conduct investigations and recommend resolutions.
- Analyze HR metrics (turnover, attendance, overtime, headcount trends) and create dashboards for data‑driven decisions.
- Oversee time‑keeping processes, ensure compliance with wage‑and‑hour laws, and resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Maintain compliance with federal, provincial and local employment legislation and support HR policy rollout across sites.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 3 + years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist supporting operational teams.
- Experience in logistics, warehouse, manufacturing or field operations environments.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian employment laws, especially wage and hour compliance.
- Proven ability to conduct employee‑relations investigations and interpret HR data.
Required skills
- Experience with time‑keeping and attendance systems such as ADP, UKG or Kronos.
- Familiarity with HRIS, payroll and related software platforms.
- Analytical mindset for interpreting workforce metrics.
