Human Resources Advisor

About the role

Olymel is seeking a Human Resources Advisor to join its team in Clair, NB. The role focuses on payroll verification, labor relations, and supporting plant managers while contributing to a collaborative and innovative workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Verify payroll data in the Workforce system and serve as the point of contact for payroll questions.
• Manage TSNB (WorkSafe New Brunswick) and disability files.
• Follow up on labor relations files, interpreting and applying the collective agreement.
• Participate in parity committees and advise first‑level managers.
• Oversee selection, hiring, onboarding of new unionized employees and manage foreign worker files.
• Perform any other related tasks as required.

Required profile

• DEC in accounting, human resources or equivalent (asset).
• No specific experience required; on‑site training will be provided.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, meticulous, and autonomous work style.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
