HR Specialist

About the role

As an HR Specialist at Dot Foods, you will support all departments within the distribution center by handling recruiting, benefits, payroll, and new employee orientation. You will work closely with managers and employees to ensure smooth HR operations.

Key responsibilities

• Post and communicate open positions, track applicants in the ATS, and conduct candidate screenings and behavioral interviews.
• Onboard new hires, process paperwork, issue employee badges, and enroll employees in benefits plans.
• Provide verification letters, assist managers with leave processing in UKG, and support HR events and employee initiatives.
• Accurately track recruiting metrics, headcount, and other HR data.
• Support the HR Manager with day‑to‑day administrative and operational tasks.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; 1‑2 years of HR experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, trustworthiness with confidential information.
• Customer service orientation and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Experience with UKG HR system.
