HR Generalist – Full‑Cycle Recruitment & HRIS Lead

About the role

We are looking for a self‑motivated HR Generalist to own the full employee lifecycle and drive our recruiting strategy. In this position you will act as the operational anchor for Dayforce administration, partnership development with trade schools, and day‑to‑day HR operations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to define role profiles, write job ads, source candidates, conduct interviews and manage offers.
• Develop and maintain pipelines with educational institutions and industry networks for trades and the Registered Apprenticeship Program.
• Oversee onboarding and off‑boarding processes, including offer generation, system provisioning, exit interviews and compliance.
• Administer HRIS (Dayforce) and perform multi‑platform data audits to ensure data integrity.
• Provide HR policy guidance, support employee relations queries and manage recognition programs.
• Identify administrative bottlenecks and implement modern solutions to streamline workflows.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in energy services, construction, oil & gas or a fast‑paced industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation, human rights laws and basic payroll practices.
• Self‑driven, high emotional intelligence and excellent time‑management skills.
