HR Business Partner Specialist

About the role

The Specialist, HR Business Partner will join Ford of Canada’s HR team in Oakville. The role supports leaders across the organization, driving HR initiatives that improve performance, talent management, and compliance while providing expert guidance on complex employment matters.

Key responsibilities

• Coach, facilitate, lead, and advise operating leaders to optimize individual, team and organizational performance.
• Partner with departmental heads to design and implement people‑and‑culture decisions aligned with business objectives.
• Lead change management initiatives to meet evolving customer and business needs.
• Align HR actions with the HR Vision and Strategic Priorities, educating leaders on policies, processes and programs.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and HR partners on talent acquisition, ensuring a seamless hiring process.
• Identify workforce planning needs and deliver solutions such as recruiting, competency assessment and design thinking.
• Design and facilitate orientation and induction programs for new employees and support succession planning.
• Implement performance management programs and related policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR business partnering or a similar strategic HR role.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment legislation and talent management practices.
• Ability to influence and advise senior leaders on people‑related decisions.
• Excellent communication and change‑leadership skills.
