About the role
Harbor is looking for an HR Business Partner to join its growing team. The HRBP will act as a relationship manager for employees, managers and leaders, providing holistic HR support to selected business units across Canada. This remote position works within AST/EST/CST hours and reports to the Vice President of Talent.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with employees and leaders to implement company‑wide talent initiatives such as policies, handbooks, learning & development programs, engagement surveys and compensation reviews.
- Oversee talent lifecycle processes for assigned units, including onboarding, off‑boarding, exit interviews and promotions.
- Coach managers on employee relations, performance management and team development.
- Assess business goals and recommend new approaches to align talent initiatives with those goals.
- Provide strategic HR advice on complex people issues and act as an employee champion.
- Promote a positive culture, stay informed of industry trends and work with external experts as needed.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
- SHRM certification preferred.
- Strong business acumen and ability to build strategic relationships with leaders.
