HR Business Partner Coordinator (12‑month term)

About the role

WestJet is looking for a motivated Coordinator to join its Human Resource Business Partnering (HRBP) team on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis. The role is centred on supporting HR reporting, analytics, HRIS data maintenance and a range of administrative tasks while collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the central intake process for HRBP inquiries and distribute them to the appropriate team members.
• Administer the position management module of the HRIS and ensure data integrity.
• Support the creation of letters, SharePoint content, and employee file maintenance.
• Assist HRBPs in reviewing Leader Hub content and provide feedback to keep information current and relevant.
• Develop and review HRBP processes and documentation related to performance management, terminations, investigations and employee‑relations activities.
• Coordinate Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) and permanent accommodation placements.

Required profile

• Highly detail‑oriented with strong organisational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, agile environment while juggling multiple priorities.
• Comfortable navigating a complex, dynamic organisation and adapting quickly to shifting priorities.
• Excellent judgment and the capacity to coordinate across a broad range of teams and partners.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS platforms, especially Dayforce.
• Experience using SharePoint for content creation and document management.
• Strong aptitude for learning new software applications and reporting tools.
