About the role
We are looking for a proactive Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team at the Best Western Plus Merritt Hotel. You will ensure that guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of housekeeping staff.
- Inspect rooms and facilities to verify compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
- Recommend and arrange additional services such as painting, repairs, renovations, or equipment replacement.
- Assist cleaners with duties when needed.
- Coordinate housekeeping work with other hotel departments.
- Establish and manage work schedules.
Required profile
- College or CEGEP diploma (1‑2 year program) or equivalent experience.
- 1 to less than 2 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping or hospitality.
- Flexible hours availability.
