Housekeeper (Full-time)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated housekeeper to ensure our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable environment at Inntown Inn & Suites in Merritt. The role involves daily cleaning, linen management and supporting guest needs in a fast‑paced hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish all floor types.
• Dust furniture and clean surfaces.
• Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture.
• Make beds, change sheets and replenish linens.
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guest rooms.
• Stock the linen closet and manage inventory.
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Handle lost and found items and report them.
• Respond to guest requests for extra supplies or information.
• Collect debris, empty trash containers and maintain public areas.
• Launder clothing and household linens.
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings as needed.

Required profile

• No formal education required.
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an asset.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in a hospitality environment.
• Commitment to cultural competency and welcoming Indigenous workers.
