Household Manager & Family Assistant – BC & Alberta

About the role

We are actively recruiting experienced, reliable, and proactive Household Managers & Family Assistants to support families across BC and Alberta, Canada. The role focuses on keeping households running smoothly through organization, light home care, family logistics, and meal support.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily home resets, light tidying, kitchen clean‑up and organize common spaces.
• Manage household inventory, restock groceries, pantry staples and supplies.
• Coordinate cleaners, vendors, deliveries and home‑maintenance providers.
• Plan and prep simple, healthy family meals, handle grocery shopping and fridge/pantry organization.
• Pack snacks or lunches for school‑aged children and assist with family scheduling, school forms and appointments.
• Provide occasional childcare support such as school or activity pickups, date‑night assistance and engaging children in crafts or play.

Required profile

• Organized, dependable and proactive with the ability to anticipate family needs.
• Calm under pressure, adaptable to changing priorities and able to build trust with adults and children.
• Tech‑comfortable using tools like Google Calendar, Amazon ordering and shared family apps.
• Reliable transportation, eligible to work in Canada and able to pass a background check.
• Maintain a smoke‑free environment and be vaccinated if requested by the family.
