About the role
The Hotel Manager will lead daily operations at the Best Western Mountainview Inn, ensuring exceptional guest experiences in a rural setting. This role combines strategic planning, staff leadership, and hands‑on management of front‑desk and maintenance activities.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations.
- Recruit, hire, and train staff; conduct performance reviews.
- Negotiate with suppliers and manage inventory.
- Prepare budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and implement marketing activities.
- Oversee front‑desk duties, maintenance, and event management.
- Address customer complaints and ensure high service standards.
- Develop business plans, establish work schedules, and enforce policies.
Required profile
- Client‑focused with strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
- Flexible, initiative‑driven team player able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
