Hotel Assistant General Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Hotel Assistant General Manager to support the overall operations of our Travelodge by Wyndham Sportsman Lodge in Golden, BC. The role involves allocating resources, coordinating departments, and ensuring the implementation of organizational policies.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
• Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and senior staff positions.
• Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments.
• Establish objectives and formulate or approve policies and programs.
• Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff and delegate authority.

Required profile

• College/CEGEP education.
• 1 to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and capacity to handle a large workload.
