Hospitality Territory Representative

About the role

Ecolab is seeking a Territory Representative to cover Peterborough, Cobourg and surrounding areas, delivering chemical cleaning solutions to foodservice and hospitality customers. After a paid training program, you will manage an established portfolio of restaurants, hotels, schools and long‑term care facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain ware‑washing, laundry and dispensing equipment, using mechanical aptitude to strengthen customer relationships.
• Provide on‑site training and safe equipment usage to customer teams, ensuring facilities remain operational.
• Develop sales within the territory by delivering product demonstrations, emergency service and cold‑calling new accounts.
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including weekend on‑call coverage every four weeks.

Required profile

• High school diploma (post‑secondary education preferred).
• At least 1 year of outside sales experience.
• Willingness to be on‑call after hours and during weekend coverage.
• Valid driver’s licence with an acceptable motor vehicle record.

Required skills

• Mechanical aptitude for installing and servicing ware‑washing, laundry and dispensing equipment.
• Problem‑solving skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC or related mechanical systems.
• Ability to travel within the territory and to the US for training.
