About the role
Bevo Farms Ltd. is seeking a motivated Horticulture Technician to maintain and enhance the health of plants, lawns, and gardens at our Langley location. The role involves daily field work, applying treatments, and diagnosing plant issues to ensure optimal growth.
Key responsibilities
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens.
- Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides and other lawn‑care products.
- Perform pruning, spraying, repair damaged areas and inject treatment solutions.
- Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease.
Required profile
- College or CEGEP diploma in agriculture, horticultural science or related field.
- 1 to less than 2 years of hands‑on experience in plant care or horticulture.
- Relevant certifications for handling pesticides and related chemicals.
Required skills
- Pruning techniques.
- Fertilizer application.
- Pesticide, herbicide and fungicide handling.
