About the role

The Home Support Worker provides essential personal care and household assistance to clients in their own homes. This full‑time position involves supporting daily living activities, ensuring safety, and promoting a comfortable living environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer medications and monitor health needs.
  • Assist clients with bathing, personal hygiene and dressing.
  • Prepare, cook and serve nutritious meals, including planning therapeutic diets.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundering, cleaning and mending linens.
  • Provide companionship, shop for food and household supplies, and support daily living activities.

Required profile

  • Reliable, punctual and dependable with a strong client‑focused attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to handle physical tasks including bending, lifting up to 9 kg and standing for extended periods.
  • Flexibility, initiative and good judgment in a home environment.
  • Clean criminal record and willingness to undergo security clearances and provide references.
