Home Support Worker – Personal Care & Household Assistance

About the role
This position provides in‑home support to adults, including persons with disabilities, helping them maintain independence and a comfortable living environment. The role combines personal care, light housekeeping, and companionship in a non‑smoking, urban setting.
Key responsibilities
- Assist clients with regular exercise such as walking.
- Help with feeding or assist in feeding.
- Launder clothing and household linens.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Shop for food and household supplies.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, including cooking.
Required profile
- Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
- Ability to work in a non‑smoking, urban home environment.
- Reliability, punctuality, and strong client focus.
- Criminal record check and references required.
Required skills
- Basic cooking and meal preparation.
