Home Support Worker – Personal Care & Household Assistance

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Home Support Worker to provide personal care and household assistance to clients in their homes. The role involves supporting daily living activities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment, and fostering companionship.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing.
• Support regular exercise such as walking.
• Launder clothing and household linens; mend as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Plan therapeutic diets, prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• Shop for food and household supplies.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1 to less than 2 years of experience in home support or personal care.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Ability to pass criminal record and security clearances.
• Physical ability to bend, crouch, lift up to 13.5 kg and handle repetitive tasks.
• Strong punctuality, reliability, and client‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• First Aid certification.
