Home Support Worker – Personal Care & Companionship

About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Home Support Worker to provide bedside and personal care to clients in Toronto. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment, and offering companionship. The position also supports newcomers and refugees, fostering an inclusive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care, including assistance with bathing and hygiene.
- Support clients in regular exercise such as walking.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Ensure safety by following CPR and First Aid protocols.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of home support experience.
- Current CPR and First Aid certificates.
- Ability to pass a criminal record check.
- Optional live‑in accommodation available (not a condition of employment).
