Home Support Worker – Personal Care & Assistance

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Home Support Worker to provide personal care and companionship to elderly clients or persons with disabilities in their own homes. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, medication administration, and ensuring a safe, supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, hygiene, and dressing.
• Assist with feeding, meal preparation, and nutrition.
• Provide medication administration and monitor health status.
• Support regular exercise such as walking and mobility activities.
• Offer companionship, emotional support, and social interaction.
• Maintain a clean, non‑smoking work environment in the client’s home.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
• Ability to handle loads up to 23 kg and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong punctuality, reliability, and client‑focused attitude.
• Criminal record check and references required.

Required skills

• Current CPR Certificate.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
