About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Home Support Worker to provide in‑home assistance to elderly clients in Caledon East, Ontario. The role includes personal care, medication administration, and light household duties, with an optional live‑in accommodation provided at no charge (not a condition of employment).
Key responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care, including medication administration.
- Assist clients with bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing.
- Support regular exercise such as walking.
- Feed or assist in feeding, and prepare nutritious meals.
- Launder clothing and household linens, and mend them as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Provide companionship and personal care.
- Shop for food and household supplies.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation.
- 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
- Punctual, dependable, and flexible.
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, patient, and a team player.
- Honest and able to exercise good judgement.
