Home Support Worker – Elderly Care

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate Home Support Worker to assist elderly clients in Mississauga with daily personal care, companionship, and household tasks. The role involves working directly in the client’s home, providing a safe and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing and hygiene assistance.
• Assist clients with regular exercise such as walking.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to client needs.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with medication reminders and simple health monitoring.
• Support clients with transportation to appointments or errands.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• Flexibility and reliability in scheduling.
• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Ability to work in a non‑smoking, urban home environment.
• Morning and day‑shift availability.
• Optional live‑in accommodation available at no charge (not a condition of employment).
• Willingness to assist newcomers and refugees with settlement needs when required.
