Family Child Care Provider – Full‑time

About the role

Heartfelt Home Care is seeking a dedicated family child care provider to work in the employer’s home in Mississauga. You will be responsible for the safety, well‑being, and development of children of various ages while supporting the household in the parents’ absence.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and care for children, including transporting them to school, appointments, and outings.
• Plan and lead age‑appropriate activities, games, and outings to promote social and emotional development.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and assist with personal hygiene.
• Perform light housekeeping, maintain a safe and healthy environment, and follow parents’ discipline methods.
• Help children with homework and support children with special needs such as allergies or ADHD.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of experience caring for children in a home setting.
• Valid First Aid Certificate.
• Clear criminal record check, vulnerable sector check, and references.
• Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, patience, and good judgment.
