Home Interior Designer

About the role

Crate and Barrel is seeking passionate Designers to help customers envision and realize home design projects. You will use digital tools to create moodboards, floor plans and product lists, delivering personalized design solutions in‑store, in‑home and virtually.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales and customer engagement by promoting design programs and following up on leads.
• Conduct design consultations in person, via phone, email or video conference.
• Create 2D and 3D floor plans, moodboards and product presentations that align with brand standards.
• Maintain impeccable product presentation and use of technology on the sales floor.
• Collaborate with store and design teams to meet business goals and KPI targets.
• Develop lasting customer relationships through networking and clienteling.

Required profile

• Strong passion for home interiors and current design trends.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a competitive drive.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to listen actively to customer needs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet established timelines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with 2D and 3D design tools.
• Experience using Google Suite and video‑conferencing platforms.
• Comfort with iPad and floor‑planning software.
• Knowledge of spatial planning, fabric selection, lighting and interior design styles.
