About the role
We are looking for a caring and reliable individual to provide full‑time child care in a family home in Brampton. The role involves nurturing infants and young children, ensuring their safety, health, and emotional well‑being throughout the day.
Key responsibilities
- Change diapers and sterilize bottles, preparing formula as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe environment.
- Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, keeping records of daily activities and health information.
- Organize games, outings, and other activities to promote development.
- Prepare children for rest periods and supervise them at all times.
- Attend to the emotional well‑being of each child, providing comfort and support.
Required profile
- Flexibility and initiative.
- Good judgement and strong organization skills.
- Reliability, honesty, and patience.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Effective time‑management skills.
