Child Caregiver – Private Home

About the role

This full‑time position provides in‑home childcare for a multi‑aged family in Brampton. You will be responsible for the children’s daily routine, safety, and overall well‑being while the parents are away.

Key responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for the household in the parents’ absence, including light housekeeping and cleaning.
• Bathe, dress, feed, and prepare nutritious meals for infants and children.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene, social development, and organise games, outings and other activities.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment, supervise rest periods, and transport children to school, appointments and activities.
• Tend to the emotional well‑being of each child.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1 – < 7 months of childcare experience.
• Criminal record check required.
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lb).
• Strong interpersonal skills, patience, honesty and reliability.
