High School French Tutor – In‑Home & In‑Person

About the role

Prep Academy Tutors is seeking experienced High School French tutors to work one‑on‑one with students in West Toronto and Etobicoke. The position is in‑home and in‑person, offering flexible hours and competitive rates.

Key responsibilities

• Provide academic support aligned with the Ontario high school French curriculum.
• Create supplemental assignments and learning activities to deepen understanding of French concepts.
• Offer remedial and enrichment assistance in reading, writing, grammar, oral communication, comprehension, and literary analysis.
• Prepare students for tests, exams, presentations, and other French‑language assessments.
• Adapt instruction to individual learning styles and communicate progress to parents or guardians.

Required profile

• Energetic, enthusiastic teachers or teacher candidates with experience tutoring high‑school students.
• Strong knowledge of the Ontario high‑school French curriculum.
• Fluency or advanced proficiency in French with excellent written and oral communication.
• Commitment to excellent customer service and enjoyment of working with students and families.
