High Acuity Response Team RN – Mobile Critical Care

About the role

Interior Health is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join its High Acuity Response Team (HART). The RN will provide mobile critical‑care services to adult, pediatric and neonatal patients in rural communities, working alongside a respiratory therapist, paramedics and an on‑call transport physician.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver advanced life‑support care (beyond Basic Life Support) during patient transports.
• Stabilize patients in collaboration with rural clinicians and arrange transport to higher‑level facilities when needed.
• Support ongoing patient care at the RN’s base hospital when not on transport duties.
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary HART team, including paramedics and physicians, to ensure seamless care transitions.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a passion for nursing and a reliable, flexible, motivated attitude.
• Experience in critical‑care environments and comfort working in fast‑paced, dynamic settings.
• Willingness to serve rural populations and travel between base hospitals and transport sites.
