About the role
The herdsperson will work on a beef cattle ranch in Midale, SK, handling daily animal care and farm operations. You will be responsible for maintaining herd health, feeding programs, and equipment upkeep.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat livestock health issues.
- Perform daily feeding and tend to animals.
- Track and report feed inventory.
- Operate and maintain tractors and farm trucks.
Required profile
- 2 to less than 3 years of ranch or livestock experience.
- Ability to work independently in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and capability to handle heavy loads.
- Excellent oral and written communication, organized, reliable team player.
Required skills
- Tractor operation.
- Farm truck operation.
