Heavy Duty/Red Seal Mechanic – Journeyman

About the role

Multi-Power Products Ltd., a leading Canadian manufacturer of exploratory drilling and industrial equipment, is seeking a Journeyman Heavy‑Duty/Red Seal Mechanic to join its Assembly department in Kelowna. The successful candidate will assemble, test, and service a variety of drilling machinery and related components.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble exploration drilling equipment, including control panels, engines, power units and top drives.
• Read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical schematics and shop drawings.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and service hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Adjust, repair or replace faulty parts using hand and power tools.
• Test newly assembled equipment for performance and compliance with specifications.
• Perform start‑up and testing procedures.

Required profile

• Journeyman Mechanic certification or equivalent hydraulic experience.
• High school graduation (Grade 12).
• Good communication skills.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and passport.
• Personal tool set.
