Assembly Technician – Mechanical & Hydraulic

About the role

Multi-Power Products Ltd., a Canadian manufacturer of exploratory drilling and industrial equipment, is seeking an Assembly Technician to assemble and test drilling equipment in its Kelowna service/assembly department.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble exploration drilling equipment including control panels, engines, structural components, power units and top drives.
• Read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical schematics and shop drawings.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and service a wide range of hydraulic equipment.
• Adjust, repair or replace parts using hand and power tools.
• Test new equipment for proper performance and ensure work meets specifications.
• Perform start‑up and testing procedures.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary training or mechanical/hydraulic background.
• 5+ years of related experience is a plus; drilling, hydraulic or electrical experience is an asset.
• Good communication skills and a valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
• Personal tools and ability to work primarily indoors in a service/assembly environment.
