Health and Safety Coordinator

About the role

3M is seeking a Health and Safety Coordinator to join its site EHS team and improve worker safety across four manufacturing facilities. You will collaborate with site leadership to reduce hazards and develop targeted health‑and‑safety programs in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the site EHS team in enhancing safety across four manufacturing locations.
• Guide leadership to continuously lower employee hazard exposure.
• Develop and manage site‑specific programs for industrial hygiene, PPE, noise, chemical exposure, and other safety areas.
• Influence investment decisions related to hearing conservation, chemical and physical hazards.
• Provide expertise on PPE, substance control, ventilation, radiation safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct risk and exposure assessments, incident investigations, and contribute to the annual EHS planning cycle.
• Coordinate activities that strengthen the overall EHS culture and performance.
• Stay current on industry trends through conferences, professional associations, and benchmarking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Successful security clearance under the Canadian Controlled Goods Registration program (Canadian citizen or permanent resident, valid ID, five‑year residential and employment history).
• Experience working in a high‑pace manufacturing environment is preferred.
