Head of Content

About the role

This is a senior leadership position for a Head of Content based in Canada, operating in a remote‑first, global environment. The role blends strategic ownership with hands‑on execution to turn content into a measurable growth engine across acquisition, engagement and brand consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a data‑driven content strategy that drives organic traffic, sign‑ups and engagement.
• Own SEO initiatives, including keyword rankings, search visibility, organic traffic targets and domain authority growth.
• Build and manage a scalable content production framework for web, social, email and video channels.
• Set and maintain editorial standards to ensure quality, accuracy, compliance and brand consistency.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of content creators and editors, establishing performance objectives.
• Monitor and optimise channel‑specific metrics such as email performance, social interactions and video consumption.
• Develop reporting frameworks to communicate performance, conversion impact and strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with growth, product and compliance teams to align content with acquisition goals and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in content strategy, editorial leadership or content production.
• At least 3 years leading a content function at Head or Director level.
• Proven track record in fintech, crypto, digital banking or similarly regulated, fast‑growing industries.
• Demonstrated success improving acquisition metrics through content and SEO initiatives.
